The first burning

From December 17th, 2005 until the end of 2006 the two artists Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz burn the city of Rome.
The burnings begin on December 17th with the opening of an exhibition at the restaurant Supperclub and extend into the burning of the Danish Institute located in The Eternal City. The burning of the Danish Institute will take place on December 29th, 2005, and will be part of the endeavour to develop CoF and prepare for the burning of the Colosseo.
The symbolic burnings are the artists“ contribution to the debate about the roots of Western culture.
